2025 may be an "off year" election as far as Congress goes, but that doesn't mean we don't have important elections this year or we can take a break with our voter registration work, John.
Voter registration is open in New Jersey until October 14th -- and early voting starts on October 25th. Control of their state legislature hangs in the balance, while it's also an open race for governor as the current governor is term-limited.
Voters can register in Virginia until October 24th , with early voting starting on September 19th. Virginia's legislature is also up for grabs, plus the opportunity to replace the current vote-suppressing governor (who is term-limited) with someone who will protect voting in the commonwealth again.
Our mission is simple: The more people who vote, the more our government looks like we, the people. But to get to the point where every voice is heard, we need your help .
It costs us roughly $3 to register a new voter. Will you chip in $24 or more today to help register 8 new voters? >> [[link removed]]

Yes, there have been a few special elections to fill vacancies, but these elections are our first real opportunity to fight back against the widespread efforts to dismantle our democracy. The results will determine whether our country stays mired in the darkness and conspiracy theories we hear every day or if we can reclaim our rights -- from voting to choice and more -- and keep working toward a better future.
Voter participation has been increasing, and young people -- a major target of opponents of voting rights -- see the importance of voting now more than ever. Voting quickly becomes a habit -- a habit our democracy sorely needs to fulfill the promise of the American dream. Overwhelming states nationwide with new voter registrations can help turn the tide against the voter suppression laws we've seen passed the last few years.
New voter registration -- at just about $3 per new voter -- will absolutely tip the scales of these elections towards justice. Please pitch in with $24 or whatever you can to help us register a tidal wave of new voters this year! >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
