John,
On Tuesday, July 22, at 4:00 PM ET, No Labels Academy will host its first-ever Oxford-style debate, exploring one of the most provocative questions about U.S. policy towards a changing Middle East:
Motion presented: “Regime change in Iran should be the position of the United States”
Two rising law students are going head-to-head to debate the pro and con positions of this statement:
- Seena Saiedian – A rising second-year law student at the University of Virginia School of Law and current summer associate at Latham & Watkins in Washington, DC. He has a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
- Seth Winigrad – A rising third-year law student at Villanova University School of Law and judicial intern at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from George Washington University.
The Debate will be moderated by our very own Chief Strategist Ryan Clancy and will include:
- Opening statements
- Targeted questions
- Final remarks
At the end, YOU get the opportunity to vote which argument was more persuasive.
This is an extraordinarily rare opportunity to see young leaders tackle real-world policy dilemmas in an open environment that welcomes new ideas.
