It's not easy to take time away from my wife and children to go toe-to-toe with the special interests. But let me tell you something: keeping Jason in Congress fighting for hardworking families is totally worth it.

I want to be transparent with you: we only have a few more days to hit our $50,000 FEC end-of-quarter goal -- but we're still falling $39,872 short. That's a pretty big gap to close while facing critical moments like a pandemic response, protests for racial justice, and the Colorado primary. But time and again, supporters like you have stepped up and had Jason's back when he needed you most -- and I know this time won't be any different.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has their sights set on picking up at least 25 House seats this November -- and you better believe we'll be one of their targets. Jason doesn't accept money from corporate PACs, so he's relying on grassroots donations from people like you, friend. A few months ago now, we made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel all in-person fundraising events and rallies until it's safe to gather together again. But that means we are relying on emails just like these to keep fueling this campaign. Once the primary is over this month, we are going to have to kick this campaign into high gear to make sure we come out victorious once again.

That means we need to hire more remote staff, make additional ad buys online and on TV to spread Jason's message and meet voters where they're at right now, invest even more in our GOTV efforts to ensure Coloradans vote (and vote safely) this year, and more. Running a congressional campaign in a key battleground district was never going to be easy -- or cheap, for that matter.

But together, I'm confident we can raise the money we need to re-elect Jason without taking a dime from special interests. Whether you can afford $6 or $60, every little bit will get us one step closer to hitting our end-of-quarter goal and winning again this November.
