Hi John,
This week at Surfers Against Sewage weβre celebrating Members Week [[link removed]], a week devoted to SASβs original community, our amazing members! π
SAS members are Ocean Activists who are done watching the rivers and seas they love get destroyed.
From sewage to plastic and chemical pollution, they help us take on the threats to our waters and communities with grit, mischief, and a whole lot of heart. π
This week, we want to introduce our membership to you; celebrate the impact our members have on protecting our waters and let you know how you can join them [[link removed]]!
Keep an eye out for inspiring stories, incredible impact stats and more from our members!
A small monthly donation = massive impact.
Become a member for just a few pounds a month and youβll help us:
Expose polluters and force them to clean up Mobilise thousands of Ocean Activists to take a stand, like The People vs Plastic protests yesterday Run school programmes that inspire the next generation Take action against government inaction Build a tidal wave of support for our seas, rivers and lakes Can you join the fight for a thriving ocean?

SAS turns 35 this year! π A lot has changed in 35 years but our members have been with us since the start. Back then our actions were funded by Β£20 a year memberships, mostly from locals in Cornwall and those in the surfing community.
What started from humble beginnings at a church hall in 1990, has grown into a nationwide movement. β
Today, our members continue to fund real change to reform our failing water industry and protect our wild waters!
