Trump’s Big, Ugly Bill – now law – is a raw deal for working families, especially in PA. The clean energy cuts buried in the bill alone are going to wreak havoc on household budgets, local economies, and our fight against the climate crisis.
All so Republicans' megadonors can get a fat tax break. 🙃
Specifically, here’s what Trump's clean energy cuts mean for PA:
👉 Billions in investment gone. Over $3 billion in clean energy projects – and 26,000 future PA jobs – are on the chopping block.
👉 Higher utility bills. Trump's cuts will raise electricity costs by $93 per household and 10% for businesses by 2026. Gas prices? Up $582 per year by 2035.
👉 Job losses in PA. Trump’s bill guts the 30% tax credit for solar installation, risking layoffs across growing green industries, especially in Western PA.
This budget is a disaster. We need to know where you stand.
