Americans of color have been disproportionately affected by the coronavirus. But unfortunately, we may never know the depth of the damage done to these communities -- because the government isn’t doing its job.
 
POLITICO reports that “The Trump administration is leaving big gaps in race and ethnicity information,” pointing to more than half of COVID cases missing information on race.
 
Quite simply, that means communities of color won’t get the care they need -- because right now, the government doesn’t even care enough to find out how sick they are. 
 
At a time when Americans of color need to be seen more than ever, Trump’s policies are treating them like they don’t even exist. Should he take the blame for the damage he’s done? Tell us what you think:
