This is great:

Chris reached out yesterday to ask if you'd step up before our FEC deadline, and this team sure did deliver! We saw a groundswell of support thanks to folks like you, putting us in a strong position to start. If we keep up this pace for the rest of the week, we'll hit our end-of-quarter goal just in time.

But if donations slow down now, you can bet that our opponents will use it against us when they pore over our FEC report. Let's not give them a reason to think this grassroots team is anything but strong.

Can you help us keep our momentum with a donation of $10 or more? Your support is critical right now as we close in on our FEC deadline.

Thank you,

Team Pappas

Hello,

A week from today is our end-of-quarter deadline when we’ll report how much our campaign has raised over the last three months in a public report to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). In a minute I'm going to ask you to pitch in towards our end-of-quarter goal, but first I want to take a second to talk about why this FEC deadline matters.

This deadline is a big test of our campaign’s strength — and it's one we cannot afford to fail. Especially not after President Trump endorsed one of my opponents on Twitter and pledged the support of his super PAC.

President Trump knows control of the House is on the line — that's why he's zeroing in on our race. So I’m personally asking you to step up today:

Will you pitch in $10 or more before our major FEC deadline? It’s not just about how much we raise but also the amount of people who have chipped in to help get us there. Every donation counts.

In 2018 this team beat the odds, broke records, and won our election in an extremely competitive district despite mountains of outside money spent against us. This time around right-wing groups and special interests will be poring over our numbers to look for any sign of weakness.

They want to see if our team is still strong enough to win the "swingiest of swing" districts. We know we are; now we just have to prove it. With our deadline rapidly approaching, I have to ask:

Will you rush a donation now to help us raise the $15,000 we need before our FEC deadline? Your support is critical right now.

When we win in November, it will be because folks like you stepped up in moments like these.

Thank you,

Chris
