Attorney General William Barr has now made it clear that his top priority is protecting Donald Trump at all costs, not delivering impartial justice.
His loyalty to Trump over the rule of law reached a breaking point last week when he abruptly fired the U.S. Attorney of the Southern District of New York, who was in the midst of multiple criminal investigations into Trump and his inner circle.
