The last governor’s race in New Jersey was decided by 3%, and the margin in the 2024 presidential election was just 6% — a massive drop from the numbers Democrats used to put up in New Jersey.

So we’d be lying if we said this is going to be an easy race. In fact, three polls have now come out showing that this is a virtually neck-and-neck contest. The most recent poll even showed that after voters see the attack ads Ciattarelli’s super PAC is churning out against Mikie, he pulls ahead of her.

This is going to be a tough, hard-fought race, but Mikie Sherrill has always beaten the odds — and we’re going to need your help if we’re going to fight our way to a win this November. Can you help us out? [[link removed]]

Growing up, Mikie dreamed of being a Navy pilot, despite women being prohibited at the time from flying combat aircraft. But when she graduated from the Naval Academy, she was a part of the first class of women eligible for combat roles on ships and aircraft.

When Mikie decided to run for Congress in 2018, she ran as a Democrat in a seat that was a Republican stronghold for the prior 34 years. With the help of a strong grassroots coalition, she beat a GOP incumbent that no one thought she could defeat when she launched her campaign.

Believe it or not, this year’s election is going to be even tougher. Far-right super PACs have already spent over a million dollars smearing her name to try to take her down. But if we hold together, we will fight back and win this race.
