Since January, SIX Senators — 4 Democrats and 2 Republicans — from Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Illinois, and Michigan decided to retire instead of seeking re-election.[link removed] [[link removed]]

First, some quick math: Incumbents are HIGHLY favored in Senate races, winning between 80-100% of the time.
When incumbents retire, that bump disappears. And to add insult to injury, we have to let the long primary process play out before we can support our eventual nominee.
On the flip side, these retirements cleared new paths to victory that simply didn’t exist back a few months ago.
For example, North Carolina WAS considered a “Lean Republican” seat until Republican Thom Tillis declined to run again after Trump attacked him.
Now, it’s a 50/50 toss-up.
The bottom line: It’s open season on open Senate seats, and we’re giving this fight all we’ve got.
So, while the Democratic primaries play out, consider helping us suit up for the battles ahead: Chip in $6 to win 6 open seats and take back control of the U.S. Senate next November! [[link removed]]
