I’ve introduced a REAL proposal for a 28th Amendment to the Constitution to address a MAJOR (yet little-known) flaw in our political system.

When our founders wrote the Constitution, they designed the Senate to protect the power of small states in national politics. But they never anticipated that America’s biggest states would have 65 times the population of the smallest.
Today, 39M people spread across the 21 smallest states control 42 Senate seats, while 39M Californians control just TWO seats.
As this gap widens each year, power skews more in favor of small states, and the Senate becomes less democratic.
A majority of Senators now represent a minority of Americans. And that minority gets to decide BIG, IMPACTFUL things like who sits on our Supreme Court, runs top federal agencies, and serves on the presidential Cabinet.
Here’s how my proposed amendment would restore balance to the Senate:
🏛️ [[link removed]] Create 12 at-large Senate seats elected by national popular vote
👫 [[link removed]] Ensure all eligible Americans can vote for these senators
🗳️ [[link removed]] Add 12 at-large Electoral College members to vote for the national popular vote winner
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: Bold reforms like this are a long shot in this toxic political climate. I won’t pretend that any one signature or petition can change that.
However, there will come a day when we leave Trump and MAGA behind and decide, as a nation, how to move forward. We’ll need blueprints for a modern, strong, and free America. That’s what this plan is all about.
