John -
Attorney General Bill Barr has been undermining the integrity of our justice system throughout his time as AG.
But recently, it’s become crystal clear that Barr is willing to be complicit in the president’s racist agenda. When Barr ordered the removal of peaceful protestors for President Trump’s photo op, leading to them being tear gassed, he crossed a line—not only does he pose a threat to our democracy, but his actions pose a threat to American lives.
That’s why Congress must act now to impeach and remove him from office. Join CREW and more than 40,000 others in speaking out: demand that Congress impeach Barr now!
Thank you,

John -
More than a year ago, CREW first called for Attorney General Bill Barr’s resignation after he misled the public about the contents of the Mueller report. More than 100,000 of you have joined us and demanded that he resign.
Now Barr has taken his abuses of power a step further, demonstrating that not only is he dangerous to our democracy, but that his actions are a real threat to American lives. Barr’s order to disperse peaceful protesters gathered at the White House in opposition to racial injustice resulted in the protestors being hit with pepper balls and rubber bullets, all in order to make way for the president’s appalling photo op. That’s when it became impossible to ignore that he presents a clear and present danger.
Barr’s willingness to use the power of the Department of Justice for President Trump’s political goals, no matter the potential harm to Americans, demands that Congress act quickly to remove him from office.
Will you join us and demand that Congress immediately begin the process of impeaching and removing Barr from office?
Barr has repeatedly intervened in criminal cases involving the president’s allies, undermining the rule of law and attacking the integrity of the Department of Justice. He has abused his power for the president’s personal and political interests, and his actions targeting those who are protesting against racial injustice have demonstrated his complicity in President Trump’s racist agenda.
Barr is too dangerous to our democracy and to the safety and wellbeing of Americans to be allowed to remain in office. Congress should act now to begin the impeachment process—demand that they act by signing now.
Thank you,
