Hello, True Texans!
I think one of my very favorite things in my political efforts is working with the youth! Is there any better way to save Texas than to teach young people what's important??? This weekend we held our Certified True Texan Youth training in Plano, and it did not disappoint! In fact, look who showed up!
How fun is that? The next youth training will be October 11 in Harris County. We'll release the rsvp link soon!
Each youth gets a cool new t-shirt!
In the meantime, here's a scholarship opportunity for youth to The Leadership Congress by Patriot Academy:
TTP & Patriot Academy are teaming up to train the next generation of leaders to be patriots grounded in the Constitution and unwavering in their commitment to the principles of liberty. If you have a 16 to 25 year-old young leader in your circle that you believe would benefit from Patriot Academy’s elite training "The Leadership Congress", then we have a very last minute scholarship opportunity. But it requires immediate, aggressive action on the part of that young leader! The Leadership Congress is July 27 – Aug 2 at the Patriot Academy Campus in Fredericksburg, Texas. Patriot Academy is holding three slots for TTP to award $750 scholarships to three students we recommend. Have your students apply very, very quickly at this link and then reply to this email with a paragraph or two about why this student should receive the scholarship. This $750 scholarship reduces the $1,250 tuition for the full week, so the student still needs to raise or pay $500, but this covers all lodging, meals, materials, and the full week of training.
