Putting Hoosiers First
John,
This week has been a whirlwind for the INGOP Team, hosting State Party's first
South Dinner on Monday and visiting 12 counties over just three days. When I
was nominated, it was clear to me that Governor Braun and I shared the same
vision for this organization, and every day since I have worked to create a
party that represents and is accountable to all four corners of our great state.
Governor Braun's administration has been no less busy, welcoming U.S.
Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, putting Indiana's education reforms on
the national stage. From delivering universal school choice and revamping high
school diploma requirements, to increasing teacher base pay by $5,000 and
freezing tuition at all public universities for two years, Indiana is setting
the standard for putting students and parents first.
Governor Braun also addressed the growing concern for public safety in
Indianapolis following the tragic events that unfolded earlier this month. He
announced enhanced security for the upcoming All-Star Weekend and made it
clear: keeping our communities safe is not optional. Hoosiers deserve a capital
city where families can feel safe, and if soft-on-crime politicians refuse to
act, he is prepared to step in to protect Indianapolis residents.
As always, thank you for being a part of our team. Please feel free to reach
out if there's anything I can assist with.

INGOP's First South Dinner
On Monday, the Indiana Republican Party made history by hosting our first
South Dinner.Governor Braun highlighted key accomplishments from his Freedom
and Opportunity Agenda, including a historic property tax cut, the creation of
the Indiana Office of Entrepreneurship, and new efforts to run state government
with the same efficiency and accountability he brought to his business in
Jasper.
"I visit every county in Indiana each year and I am glad to see Chairwoman
Keesling and our party championing every corner of this state for Hoosiers."

Welcoming Secretary McMahon
On Wednesday Governor Braun welcomed U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon
to Purdue University, a Big Ten institution that continues to set the standard
for reimagining higher education. During her visit Braun touted Indiana's
recent education reforms and 2-year tuition freeze.
"Indiana is leading on school choice and innovative ways to connect students
to great careers through our new diploma pathways. It’s an honor to welcome
Education Secretary McMahon to our great state today to show her how Indiana is
leading the way!"

Keeping Indy Safe
Following the tragedy that unfolded earlier in the month and in preparation
for the All-Star Weekend, Governor Braun held a press conference to announce
the steps he and his administration are taking to crack down on crime in our
state's capital, emphasizing his duty to intervene if Indianapolis leadership
fails to protect their residents.
"Hoosiers have the right to walk through the streets of their capital without
the fear of violence, but years of liberal mismanagement and soft on crime
leadership has made that impossible. I am committed to ensuring that the
upcoming All-Star Weekend remains safe for this great city’s residents and
visitors."
