We’ve been emailing a bit more this month, and we think you deserve an explanation why.

Simply put, we’ve fallen behind. Here’s what our fundraising over the last three months looks like:

June dropped off from May, and July is falling way short of June. That trendline isn’t good.

Look, the sky isn’t going to fall if you don’t chip in today. We’re not writing to scare you into donating. This isn’t that kind of email.

But to ensure Mark has all the resources he needs to be a highly effective and aggressive leader standing up to Trump, we do need to ask for a donation from time to time. Running this kind of operation isn’t cheap, and we’re continuously spending down our reserves to keep it going.

So, if you can truly afford it, and you care about Mark, we’re humbly requesting that you donate to keep him in this fight. It would mean a lot.
