Listen, I’ve always believed that if any political candidate is going to ask you for your hard-earned money, they should at least give you a good reason. I’m going to give you three.

1) I’m running to make life in New Jersey more affordable for families. I’m laser-focused on lowering the cost of health care, energy, housing and groceries for working families in our state — and I’ve put forward detailed plans with dozens of specific policies I’m going to implement to get this done. On Day 1 of my term, I intend to start making these plans a reality.

2) My opponent stands proudly behind Trump’s massive cuts to health care and food assistance. He cheer-led the bill decimating Medicaid that Republicans just rammed through Congress and openly lobbied them to vote for it. And he’s said he wants to bring even the most disastrous elements of Trump’s agenda, like DOGE, here to New Jersey.

3) The entire country is watching this race. It’s one of only two governor’s races on the map this year — and one poll after another has come out showing an almost neck-and-neck contest. By saying NO to Trump’s handpicked candidate, we can show the nation that we will not stand for the Trump administration’s incompetence and authoritarianism. Let’s show the country that there is a better path forward.
