Friend, Republicans recently passed their version of the Big Beautiful Bill (more like Big Ugly Billionaire Bill). And it was even more devastating than the version Lauren Boebert voted for in the House.

It guts health care access for millions of Americans, slashes funding for food assistance and college students and could shutter rural hospitals that are already hanging on by a thread. All to benefit billionaires like Boebert's biggest backer: Elon Musk.

These cuts will devastate families across rural Colorado – folks are working harder than ever and getting less in return. No one should have to beg for help when they’re sick or struggling – but that’s the reality Republicans just voted for. 

AND NOW: Late Thursday night, Boebert and House Republicans signed off on $9 billion of DOGE cuts, directly impacting funds allocated for aid and public broadcasting. Despite promises of efficiency, these cuts risk crippling life-saving emergency alert systems in rural communities with spotty cell service.

I'm not reading articles about these struggles from afar – I'm on the ground meeting with folks who will be devastated by these cruel cuts. I've met with health care workers who have a vision for the future but can’t move forward because Boebert is dragging them backward. I've stood with voters at town halls and office hours Boebert refuses to attend. I've met with mothers who don't know how they'll afford their kids' lifesaving medication.

We will bring change to CO-04. We deserve a representative who shows up. Who listens. Who puts people first. 

That’s why I’m running. I’ll give everything I've got to protect affordable health care, defend working families, create good jobs and make sure Colorado has a representative who gives a damn.
