VoteVets had a historic first half of the year for fundraising. That told us our supporters were waiting for something — some way to fight back against everything Trump’s doing to our country, to our Veterans, to the Military. So, we funneled those donations directly into our programs.

We sent a $500,000 contribution to Abigail Spanberger’s campaign for Governor in Virginia, our largest ever.

We ran a targeted campaign in Wisconsin to help Susan Crawford win her campaign for a seat on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. We put digital and TV ads together featuring them and ran them in swing-seat districts held by Republican Veterans. We put on a Veteran’s town hall with Pete Buttigieg in Iowa. We kicked off a brand new $1 million program to recruit and support the next generation of candidates.

And now, we’re gearing up for November.

There are elections this year. Big elections. And we’re supporting the women on the frontlines: Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey, and Abigail Spanberger in Virginia.

And next year, there’s a whole slate of powerful, proven women leaders on the ballot, and we’re backing them with everything we’ve got. JoAnna Mendoza, Rebecca Bennett, Maura Sullivan, Cait Conley. They’re all in a texting group together, and they call themselves Hellcats.

And, yeah... we love that.

It’s been a busy year already. We’ve got more coming. But, honestly, we’re running low. Fundraising has been tough this month, and we get it. Times are tough, too.

The issue is, if our fundraising doesn’t pick up, it’s going to limit our ability to run the programs that will take the fight to Trump and defeat extreme MAGA candidates across the country.

So, today, we’re hoping you could chip in and help us get back on track.
