Impact in Numbers
Friend, thanks
to our generous supporters, the Alzheimer's Association has made an
impact on the lives of the over 7 million Americans living with
Alzheimer's disease. We've accelerated research and provided care and
support as well as strengthened advocacy efforts that keep the disease
a national priority for lawmakers.

Every day, we see the impact made by our community. We hope
what you read below helps you see just how critical kindhearted people
like you are in the fight.

Care and Support
The generous support of our community
brings help and hope to everyone impacted by Alzheimer's today.

Our free 24/7 Helpline
(800.272.3900)

is available around the clock, 365 days a year. Specialists and
master's-level clinicians received over 223,000 calls, emails and
online chats, offering confidential support and information to people
living with dementia, caregivers, families and the public.

Nearly 4,500 trained Association
community volunteers interacted with more than 430,000 people living
with Alzheimer's and their families through awareness, education and
support programs. In total, volunteers donated nearly 180,000 hours of
service valued at more than $5.7 million.

We worked with 400 health systems
to increase equitable access to care and improve the quality of care
through changes in systems, policy and practice. These initiatives
benefited more than 16.5 million covered lives - a 23% increase
from the previous year.

Research
Our donors' support enables us to
drive promising research toward new treatments and, one day, a cure.

$430 million is currently being
invested in over 1,150 active best-of-field research projects in 57
countries, spanning six continents.

Over $2.9 million has been
invested in the Part the Cloud global research grant program, allowing
three new high-risk, high-reward studies aimed at potential treatments
to move forward.

The Association is leading the
development of clinical practice guidelines for the use of blood
biomarker tests in specialty care settings. While not stand-alone
tests, these U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved blood tests
will offer a less-invasive diagnostic tool to detect amyloid plaques
on the brain, a hallmark of Alzheimer's disease.

Advocacy
Donations from our community help us
advocate for public policies to increase research funding and support
all those affected.

Advocacy efforts by the
Alzheimer's Association contributed to a $100 million increase for
Alzheimer's and dementia research funding at the National Institutes
of Health last year. The bill also included $34 million to fund the
Building Our Largest Dementia (BOLD) Infrastructure for Alzheimer's
Act, which will strengthen the dementia public health infrastructure
across the country.

More than 1,100 advocates gathered
from all 50 states for the 2025 Alzheimer's Impact Movement (AIM)
Advocacy Forum. They met with congressional offices to share their
stories and implore elected officials to advance policies that will
benefit those living with Alzheimer's and their loved ones.

More than 2,000 individuals
participated in State Advocacy Day events at their capitol building to
increase the Association and AIM's presence at the state level while
building relationships with policymakers.

Here at the Association, we
cherish those we have lost to Alzheimer's and other dementia. By
making a tribute gift, you can honor a loved one and create a lasting
legacy. Your compassion and generosity will help provide care and
support for those impacted by the disease, as well as accelerate
research for a cure so that, one day, no one has to lose someone they
care about to Alzheimer's.

Our supporters make our work possible,
but the fight against Alzheimer's is far from over. We're losing more
loved ones every day, but you can help change that. Please make a gift
during our 2025 Summer Annual Fund Drive and help further our mission
to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by
accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early
detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
