We’re asking that you donate $5 to the DNC today — $1 for each of these reasons:

1. The economy: Under President Trump and Republicans' watch, prices are rising for basic items such as groceries, medicine, and homes.

2. Taxes: Congressional Republicans voted to hand over more tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of ripping away health care and food assistance for American families.

3. Preserving democracy: President Trump and Republicans are assaulting our democracy by ignoring the Constitution and attacking both conservative and liberal judges who rule against their partisan interests.

4. Free and fair elections: The Trump administration is currently trying to overturn decades of precedent and rewrite longstanding campaign finance laws for their own benefit. We can’t let this happen.

5. Funding: Trump and his billionaire allies are raising tons of money to push their far-right agenda and influence elections up and down the ballot. We can’t let them win.
