On Tuesday, Barksdale Air Force Base hosted their second-ever naturalization ceremony for two airmen, Atson Nameta of Micronesia and Thykon Alexandrovich Rudenok of Ukraine. At the ceremony, Rudenok spoke about his desire to be an American. He stated: "What made me want to be a U.S. citizen, even having such hardships is because in America, even if you're, like, at your lowest, you can always climb back up.
