Big business is spending aggressively against Washington Democrats this year. They’re targeting two State Senate races in particular—one of which is Deb’s.
Between the two races, Sound Jobs PAC has spent more than $350k on attack ads. According to the Seattle Times, “that level of outside spending is unusual, especially so early.”
The Washington State Standard referred to these attack ads as an “onslaught of negative campaign pieces.” Of the candidates they’re targeting,
“Krishnadasan, of Gig Harbor, is taking the heavier fire thus far, though she did vote against her party’s major tax bills and transportation revenue package. Sound Jobs, backed by Enterprise Washington, had spent $171,311 against her as of Monday.”
Five days later, that number is now up to nearly $200,000.
