When I first joined this campaign, it was because I knew Dwight is the kind of leader who puts his community first. Time and again, he has listened to the needs of his friends and neighbors in Philly and actually worked to create the change they deserve.

Ever since Ogontz Avenue, Dwight hasn't been one to just ignore problems. After watching his neighborhood survive ups and downs over the years, he got off the sidelines to start transforming Philly block by block. His efforts to revitalize Ogontz Avenue brought new opportunities like the convention center, and our community has reaped the incredible benefits ever since.

We need more leaders like Dwight in Congress -- and at every level of government for that matter.

And what I've admired most is his ability to win some exciting victories for the 3rd district -- and for all Pennsylvanians -- no matter who is in charge.

There is so much more work left to do, and it's up to us to make sure our leadership has the experience and the passion to get it done for us. Dwight's work on critical bills like the HEROES Act and Justice in Policing Act needs the support of a pro-science, anti-racist Senate and White House. Bold reform needs traction -- so it's time we put those who are obstructing our progress on notice.
