Trump’s Medicaid cuts aren’t just cruel – they’re expensive.

Trump’s “Big Ugly Bill” will impact every single Michigander. Here are the facts:

* Medicaid covers 2.6 million people in Michigan – that’s 1 in 4 residents, including children, people with disabilities, and working families.

* In some rural communities, 40% or more people rely on Medicaid.

* Our state received $17.5 billion in federal Medicaid funding in 2023. That funding is now being slashed.

Let’s call this bill what it is: a massive redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the ultra-wealthy. As the country faces an affordability crisis, this is the last thing Michiganders need.
