National Domestic Workers Alliance

============================

On July 26th, we’ll be in all 50 states with coalition partners, domestic workers, and allies mobilizing in the fight for Medicaid.

After Congress cut healthcare for millions of Americans and threatened the livelihoods of home care workers and many other domestic workers, we’re building our multi-generational, multi-racial working class coalition to protect our families.

Our actions on July 26th and every day after will ensure that every family and care worker impacted by these cuts has a chance to make our voices heard.

The budget bill will lead to millions losing their healthcare, domestic workers losing jobs, and families struggling, but we can still do something about these cuts. We can come together, stay persistent, and ensure our communities have the care and resources they need.

This is why we’ll be out on July 26th with thousands and thousands of people in our coalition to make it clear: we won’t stop banding together for Medicaid, healthcare, domestic workers, and our families.

Join us on July 26th to build our movement of domestic workers and allies to ensure families can get the healthcare they need. [[link removed]]

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
