I need you to weigh in on this:

One of the main roles of the Supreme Court is to check presidential power — you and I know this as basic civics. But right now, we have a conservative court that is throwing that responsibility out the window and giving Donald Trump free rein to do as he pleases.

Recently, the Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump could continue hammering away at federal workers with mass layoffs. Now, irreversible harm is happening under their watch.

Will you join me in sending a loud and clear message to Republicans that North Carolinians are furious about this?

We've seen what happens when federal jobs are slashed and our institutions gutted:

• ✈️ Travel becomes more dangerous
• 🏛️ Basic governmental functions begin to fail
• 🏥 Veterans lose access to health care and other critical services
• ⚠️ Disaster response is delayed, leading to people losing their lives

Now, future generations will face grave threats as Trump moves forward with dismantling the Department of Education.

This has got to stop. I'm fighting these attacks on our federal workforce in Congress every day. But I need your help to show Republicans that North Carolinians won't stand for this reckless dismantling of services we all depend on.
