Republicans love to frame their attacks on Medicaid as “common sense” policy — just requiring people to “work” for their health care.

But let’s be clear: who are they targeting?

The parents already working multiple low wage jobs just to make ends meet?

The people with disabilities who participate in supported employment programs?

The seniors who spent their lives working and now deserve to retire in peace?

Or maybe the children who rely on Medicaid for everything from check-ups to life-saving treatment?

This isn’t about “responsibility.” It’s about cruelty. It’s about cutting the most vulnerable people off from care and hoping the rest of us won’t care enough to push back. ([link removed])

I care and I know you do as well. I’ll never stop calling out their hypocrisy and fighting to end their cruelty. But I can’t do this alone.
