July has been a busy month in Philadelphia, and it’s a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together.

Earlier this month, Kenyatta traveled to Harrisburg to push back against dangerous transit cuts. SEPTA is the lifeline of our city, and we are doing everything we can to protect it for the workers, students, families, and neighbors who rely on it every day.

We also had the chance to look ahead. In 2026, Philadelphia will host six FIFA World Cup matches, the MLB All-Star Game, and the Semiquincentennial celebration of America’s 250th birthday. These moments will bring new opportunities and investments to our city and show the world who we are.
