John – Last Month, Rep. Fletcher (TX-07) and I reintroduced the Reproductive Health Travel Fund Act to provide desperately needed financial support for people forced to travel hundreds of miles just to get reproductive health care – including for an abortion.
Just over three years ago, the conservative-led Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade – ripping away 5 decades of precedent and giving MAGA extremists a green light to push cruel, near-total abortion bans across the country.
This devastating decision has forced thousands of women and families to travel to sanctuary states like Washington just to get the care they need and deserve. We must stand with them.
