350 Chicago is proud to debut a new video on our YouTube Channel! In May 2025, the 350 Network Council hosted a Utility Justice 101 Training session with special guest Bill McKibben, the Co-Founder of 350.US and Third Act: Utility Justice 101 w/special guest Bill McKibben
During the training webinar, the members of the 350 Network Council discussed the ways Investor Owned Utilities block the transition to clean energy while charging ratepayers exorbitant rates for electricity and methane gas for heating their homes. Bill McKibben talked about the corruption of utilities and the benefits of clean energy for creating cheaper electricity and home heating.
Bill also spoke about the upcoming Sun Day celebration on Sunday, September 21st. Look for information about the Chicago Sun Day event coming soon.
