By now, I’m sure that you’ve heard about Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” that was passed by Republicans in Congress. It includes substantial cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, and even the most optimistic calculations estimate that hundreds of thousands of people will be sicker and hungrier as a result. All of that for an INCREASE in the deficit!

Today, I want to think beyond the numbers and hear from you, personally, about how these cuts will impact you and your loved ones.

♥ Have you ever benefited from a government healthcare program, or worked in a healthcare facility that served patients who relied on one?

♥ Have you ever visited a food bank to feed yourself or your family, or volunteered at one to support your community?

♥ Do you work with students who rely on school breakfast and lunch to fuel them through the day?

I’m running for Congress to unseat one of the Republicans who betrayed us by voting for these Medicaid and SNAP cuts. While costs have risen and jobs are leaving our district, he’s only looking out for MAGA megadonors.

Stories like yours are what motivate me to run — because, as a country, we should be looking for ways to keep families healthy and fed, not kick them while they’re down.
