Friend,
Today, millions of children woke up still in need — still facing hunger, disease and conflict. And this morning’s vote to rescind core funding for UNICEF’s work puts those children at even greater risk.
This decision breaks with more than 80 years of bipartisan American partnership with UNICEF — a commitment rooted in the belief that every child deserves a fair chance at life. The United States Government had pledged $142 million toward UNICEF’s core mission this year. Today’s early morning vote claws back that funding — and hundreds of millions of children could pay the price.
But UNICEF’s work does not stop today.
We are as committed as ever to delivering lifesaving vaccines, nutrition, safe water and education to the world’s most vulnerable children. Every year, UNICEF supports 440 million children who are at risk of preventable death, malnutrition, disease and hardship. That work must continue.
Now, we need your help more than ever. Make a gift today.
With your support, UNICEF continues to reach children in urgent need. We won’t stop. We can’t stop. Children deserve nothing less.

Sincerely,
