I was on MSNBC last night talking about the ridiculously brazen Epstein cover up Republicans and the Department of Justice are doing in front of our very eyes.

They are protecting Trump and all his elite pedophile buddies.

They’ve stonewalled the Epstein files.

They voted down my resolution on the Senate floor demanding the release of those files.

On Wednesday the Trump administration fired the prosecutor that was involved in the Jeffrey Epstein prosecution.

They call all of this a distraction — but yesterday they found plenty of time to defund foreign aid for starving children and abused women. Plenty of time taking billions of dollars back from PBS and NPR. There was enough time to take health care from 17 million people, and food assistance from more, to get rid of 30,000 VA staff, AND give trillions in tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires.

What they don’t have time for is giving the American people the truth. They don’t have time to stick up for the women trafficked and abused by Epstein and Trump. There is never enough time for them to stick up for the poor, and middle class families, and hungry kids, and veterans, and the elderly.

Republicans in the House and Senate voted to protect Trump and his elite friends today. Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice are doing everything they can to prevent those files from seeing the light of day. Kash Patel and the FBI are probably in the basement throwing them into the industrial shredder as we speak.

They promised to come in and drain the swamp, they campaigned on that, Trump promised he would be their retribution. That’s why people voted for him, because they hate the way the government always seems to use its power to take care of the elites. Now, Republicans hold the House, Senate, Supreme Court, and the White House. What are they doing with that power? Taking care of the elites.

This is a cover up. It’s a betrayal. And it’s an insult to every American, whether you voted for Trump or not.

The President of the United States is trying to cover up a major sex crime that occurred over twenty years because he was Epstein's biggest customer. The entire Republican party is backing him up on it. He has corrupted the Justice Department so thoroughly that they’re in on it too.

But this is not going away. I will not let it go away. Mark my words: The chickens are coming home to roost.
