John,
The Epstein Files are finally out. Hundreds of names. Powerful elites. And a clear trail of who participated and who looked the other way.
Or at least, that’s what the headlines should say.
Instead, MAGA and their enablers in Congress are doing what they always do: protecting the powerful, covering their tracks, and hoping the rest of us will memory-hole yet another of Trump’s nasty scandals.
Let me be clear: there is no excuse for withholding this information. The American people deserve the truth — all of it. Who was involved, who knew, and who stayed silent while the rich and powerful preyed on the young and the powerless.
But in MAGA’s America, justice is optional, and depends on whether you belong to the right political “tribe.” To MAGA, rules are only for the rest of us. And as a result, the system is designed to protect predators — not survivors.
This problem is exactly why I’m running.
I didn’t get into politics to play nice with power. I’m a human rights lawyer who took on war criminals in court. I’m a Captain in the National Guard who still wears the uniform. I’m the son of immigrants who believes that justice should belong to everyone — not just the rich and connected.
But let’s be honest — I’m going up against the same corrupt political machine that allowed Epstein and his friends to operate in the shadows for years. The moment I got in this race, they started attacking me because they know I am a threat to the status quo.
Now more than ever, we need leaders who won’t flinch when the stakes are high. Who won’t look the other way. And who will never be part of the coverup. I pledge to be that kind of candidate, and that kind of leader, now and always.
