It’s Charlie, Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia — and I’ve got to say, I completely agree with Ken Martin. Georgia is absolutely one of the most important battleground states in the country — not just in 2026, but for the long haul. Our Senate seat is essential to making gains in 2026. If we lose it, Democrats lose any realistic shot at taking back the Senate. Republicans hold a very narrow majority, and if Georgia flips red, it’s game over for making gains — and Donald Trump’s grip on power will get even STRONGER. We know Democrats across the country are stepping up to run for Senate, but none of that will matter if we can’t defend our Senate seat here at home. That’s why we’re going all in. We’re planning to defend this seat aggressively, flip state legislative races, and help Democrats regain the House. But we can’t do it without you. The work we do between now and November 2026 — knocking doors, registering voters, organizing communities — will determine whether we protect this seat and help build momentum nationwide.
