Government Data Shows Federal Agencies Take Years to Respond to 'Simple' Information Requests
by Mark Tapscott
Citizens filing simple information requests to a key Department of Commerce office must wait on average 836 days - more than two years - before getting responses, and there is no guarantee that what is provided by the government's reply will be complete or credible, according to a new report based on federal data.

Israel, Louisiana Strengthen Ties with Sister-City Pact
by Suzanne Bowdey
At a Thursday prayer event, hosted by Family Research Council at its Baton Rouge facilities, Louisiana formally strengthened its bond to the nation-state of Israel. During FRC's pastors' breakfast in the Bayou State on Thursday, attended by Governor Jeff Landry (R), Central Mayor Wade Evans (R), and Yossi Dagon, head of the Shomron Regional Council in Israel, the leaders even signed an agreement making the Louisiana city of Central and the Israeli city of Samaria sister cities.

Judgment Day: NPR and PBS Have Jilted Taxpayers for Too Long
Judgment Day: NPR and PBS Have Jilted Taxpayers for Too Long
by Casey Harper
Let's consider that PBS, once the source of some of America's favorite "Sesame Street" characters, is now a cringeworthy collection of irrelevant kids shows buoyed by the nostalgia of aging lawmakers. With the explosion of streaming services, social media, and endless entertainment options, kids are more addicted to screens than ever. But screens aren't good for kids. I covered this in a previous podcast, and it's backed by plenty of research. In our time of overabundance in digital content, do we really need to subsidize entertainment more?

Israel Strikes Damascus following Bloodshed in Southern Syria
Israel Strikes Damascus following Bloodshed in Southern Syria
by Joshua Arnold
Peace in the Middle East must wait a little longer still. Less than a month after wrapping up its airstrikes on Iran, the Israeli Air Force has escalated its airstrikes in Syria, hitting more than 160 targets since Tuesday night. Israel has insisted that the Suwayda region remain demilitarized, but its intervention also came at the behest of its own Druze minority.

It took his father's courageous example, the irrational hostility of transgender activists, and the sanctifying influence of the Holy Spirit. For Christian Rosas, his faith was tested in the crucible of criticism and emerged as gleaming gold (1 Peter 1:7).

Experts, GOP Urge Trump Administration to Release Epstein Files
by Dan Hart
In the wake of the Trump administration's announcement last week that it would not be releasing all the materials related to the prosecution of deceased billionaire financier and registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein - after apparently finding no evidence of an "incriminating 'client list'" - experts and Republican lawmakers are urging the administration to conduct a full release of the "Epstein Files" in order to achieve complete transparency over the years-long controversy.

GOP Moves to Strip Federal Charter from 'Insane' Leftist National Education Association
by S.A. McCarthy
While much of the nation's attention over the past few months has centered on mass deportations, conflict in the Middle East, and the controversial "Epstein files," a pair of Republicans is continuing to focus on American children in American classrooms. Rep. Mark Harris (R-N.C.) and Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) announced new legislation on Wednesday aimed at stripping the National Education Association (NEA), a progressive teachers' union, of its federal charter.

A Win for Human Rights: What Mahmoud v. Taylor Teaches Us about God-Given Freedoms
A Win for Human Rights: What Mahmoud v. Taylor Teaches Us about God-Given Freedoms
by Rebekah Basie
The historic Mahmoud v. Taylor case specifically set precedent for religious liberty in the states. Originating in Montgomery County, Maryland, this decision allowed parents once again to opt out their school-age children from indoctrination via Pride Storybooks. Parents offered significant pushback, claiming the lack of opt out violated their First Amendment right to exercise their religion, since such a practice grossly violates the convictions and commands of many religions. But not only was this case a win for conservatives, Christians, and families - it was also a win for human rights.
