Governor Greg Abbott released a list of additional issues to be addressed in the Special Session that begins next Monday, July 21. The issue to “Protect Women’s Spaces”, HB 32, has been added to the Special Session Call as well as several Pro-Life Bills that Texas Values will be monitoring, among other important bills.

For more information about the women's privacy issue, please visit protectwomensprivacytexas.com

Texas Values helped lead the passage of Texas SB 10 this legislative session and the Ten Commandments are now permitted by law to be displayed in public school classrooms across Texas.

But it’s up to the people of Texas to help implement this new law—and you can play a vital role. For the Ten Commandments to be displayed, the poster or framed copy must be donated to the school(s).

With this tool, RestoreAmericanSchools.com you can select the school(s) in your area, purchase posters for just $1 each (including shipping), and follow a simple step-by-step guide to donate them to your local school and district.

If Texans across the state participate, we can ensure that the Ten Commandments are restored to every classroom in our great state.

We encourage you to involve your neighbors, church small group, or family in this important effort.

While adopting a school, please take a moment to mark "Texas Values" in the referral drop down menu so we can keep track of volunteer statistics!

Special Guest Rep. Matt Shaheen, Discusses Recent Supreme Court Victories with Megan Benton, Strategic Policy Associate for Texas Values!

"If a brick and mortar sex show location is asking for an ID why is it not acceptable to ask for an ID online?'...they simply couldn't really answer that question...it was upheld about 3 weeks ago by the Supreme Court, a huge victory for our children.

This was really the first piece of legislation like this before the Supreme Court. The fact that we won (6-3) this has established a precedence that's going to be very helpful for us in protecting children further on.

We have a template for other states that's now passed Supreme Court muster...Texas Values played a role in that...really a big thanks to Texas Values!

Governor called us back for a special session...there are a couple of pieces of legislation that I have my eye on; there's the banning of taxpayer-funded lobbying...there's an election piece of legislation I filed…and women’s privacy." ~ Rep. Matt Shaheen
