 Reuters: US House Republicans pass Trump plan to cut foreign aid, public broadcasting The House just approved Trump’s cuts to public broadcasting. If this becomes law, that would mean devastating cuts to NPR, PBS, and thousands of public radio and television stations across the country. We’re talking about Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger, for crying out loud. It’s the single largest cut to public broadcasting in U.S. history. Why? Because Trump doesn’t like what they report. He’s called NPR and PBS “radical left monsters” and claimed they’re biased—so now he’s trying to silence them.
