Katie Britt (R-AL) championed several major child care-related provisions for America's working families in the "Big Beautiful Bill," including: Permanently expanding the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit (CDCTC) — making more families eligible for a larger, partially refundable credit to offset the cost of child care. Increasing the cap on employer-sponsored Dependent Care Assistance Plans (DCAP) from $5,000 to $7,500, allowing parents to set aside more pre-tax dollars for care expenses. Strengthening the Employer-Provided Child Care Tax Credit (Section 45F) by raising the credit from 25% to 40% of qualified expenses, increasing the cap on eligible costs, and indexing the program for inflation. Britt designed these reforms to boost child care supply and ease the financial burden on working families — all without expanding bureaucracy. Thank you and congratulations, Sen. Britt! Jen Kiggans (VA-02), setting up what could become another high-profile contest in an important district. A first-time candidate and Navy veteran, Osyf is attempting to position himself as a moderate, though the NRCC points out that he is a "DC resident" with a "far-left agenda." WFW PAC has proudly supported Kiggans for years. She was part of WFW PAC’s first round of endorsements in key districts, and we look forward to continuing that support in the coming months.
