Today, we are making a very big announcement: MoveOn is launching a national “Won’t Back Down” tour to hold Republicans’ feet to the fire for backing Donald Trump’s despicable, anti-American, pro-billionaire agenda!
We’re going right into the belly of the beast: We’ll be in the hearts of swing districts currently held by Republican members of Congress, so we can expose their cruel records of ripping away health care from their own constituents.
And we aren’t shy about our goal: to get these spineless, lying Republicans—who swore they would never cut health care—out of office in November 2026.
This is big. It’s bold. And it’s powerful.
Because that’s exactly what this moment requires. We will rally thousands and thousands of the most critical voters and volunteers in the most consequential congressional districts in the country.
But to pull this tour off at the level that will actually make a difference, we need your help.

We’re kicking off the tour in Phoenix, Arizona, alongside firebrand Senator Chris Murphy, leading progressive Representative Jasmine Crockett, and climate champion Representative Yassamin Ansari, rallying against Representatives David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani—two of the most vulnerable Republicans in Congress—who just voted to hand billionaires a huge tax cut, paid for by the working class.
Then, we’re headed to Omaha, Nebraska, where Republican Representative Don Bacon is retiring from his swing district, which Kamala Harris won in 2024, giving Democrats a golden opportunity to pick up a critical House seat. We’ll be joined by powerhouse Senator Elizabeth Warren and rising star Representative Maxwell Frost.
And we’re partnering with MeidasTouch—the wildly popular and fastest-growing independent media network—to broadcast our events far and wide in order to reach audiences on YouTube and other digital platforms that have tuned out traditional media.
And—if we’re able to fund it—we’ll hit other key congressional districts across the country after that.
Remember, Democrats need to flip only three seats to flip the House. Just three seats.
We’ve done it before. Back in 2018, MoveOn helped lead the way for Democrats to win 40 seats in the House in a historic blue wave. We’re ready to do it again.
But that came only after persistent grassroots organizing, marches, rallies, and mobilizations. In short, it happened because progressives organized events just like this “Won’t Back Down” tour to build momentum and a bolder base of organized volunteers.
And our tour is more than just yet another speaking program: We’ll welcome attendees in these crucial target districts into our field organizing program with immediate organizing actions, and we'll keep them engaged over the coming months, leading up to the 2026 midterms.
We can take nothing for granted. Not in unprecedented times like these, where authoritarianism is at our doorstep.
