Let me be honest with you: Trump’s “Big Ugly Bill” was one of the worst pieces of legislation I’ve ever voted on.

As a doctor, I’ve cared for patients who depend on Medicaid to manage chronic conditions and stay healthy. This bill slashes critical funding , hands out giveaways to billionaires, and shortchanges working families across California.

That’s not progress — and I couldn’t support it in good conscience.
