A big day for California

Hi John,

I've just published a new blog post:

At the beginning of the year, I introduced legislation to stop federal funding for California High-Speed Rail. After months of fighting to kill the project, the decisive moment came at a hearing yesterday, when I made the case directly to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

Shortly after the hearing, Secretary Duffy and President Trump announced the project will not receive another penny, with the Federal Railroad Administration making it official. Newsom then tried to troll me, backfiring badly when I caught him using ChatGPT to write the post.

I can understand why he’s reeling. We have now reversed his High-Speed Rail funding, his gas-car ban, his free Medi-Cal for illegal immigrants, his reckless crime policies, and so much more. We continue to Newsom-Proof California and restore sanity to our state.

In other good news, the House has just passed a bill I sponsored to prohibit the Federal Reserve from issuing a Central Bank Digital Currency. This will stop the emergence of CCP-style surveillance and control that would threaten the liberty and privacy of every American.

Elsewhere this week: I had to set Jasmine Crocket straight when she claimed Los Angeles is a model of good governance and that Newsom should be applauded, and I questioned the Chancellor of UC Berkeley about the radical faculty members indoctrinating their students.

And my bill the No Tax Dollars for Riots Act – which President Trump endorsed – has major momentum. We've learned the tire spikes used to disable Border Patrol vehicles last week were carried in bags with the logo for CHIRLA – the "nonprofit" that got $34 million in public funds.

Speaking of LA, Mayor Karen Bass is now giving cash payments to illegal immigrants who say they are "impacted" by ICE operations. I spoke on Fox News about this whole new level of insanity.
