We’re just about six months into Donald Trump’s second administration, and each day we have been bombarded with an onslaught of bad news — from cutting essential programs like Medicaid, to threatening war with Iran, to ICE spreading terror through our communities.
But amidst the chaos there have been glimmers of hope, too. We’ve turned out by the millions to show our opposition month after month. And we’ve beat back some of the billionaire class’ attempts to buy elections, including in Wisconsin and NYC.
These glimmers tell a story — that even when the odds are stacked against us and our democracy has never before been in such peril, there are millions of people who are willing to join together and stand up and fight for a country that works for everyone.
