Former GOP State Senator Scott Jensen has jumped into the race for Governor of Minnesota.

This is not his first run, John. He also ran for governor in 2022, and because of that, we know exactly what we’re dealing with: an extreme, right-wing conspiracy theorist who does not represent Minnesota’s values.

Jensen made a name for himself by spreading disinformation and wild conspiracy theories. But if you thought his extremism stopped there, think again. When Jensen ran in 2022, he said he’d ban abortion outright in Minnesota. If elected, he would govern as another unhinged MAGA extremist who would do Trump’s bidding without hesitation and try to force his dangerous agenda on all of us.

We’re going to do everything in our power to ensure Scott Jensen will never be Governor of Minnesota. But to do that, we need to make sure we have the resources to warn Minnesotans about the threat he poses right out of the gate.
