TELL THE U.S. HOUSE: Why don't Republicans want to release the Epstein Files? Trump campaigned on providing more information about Jeffrey Epstein's crimes, but now he's telling the country that the whole thing is a "hoax." There's an effort in the House to force a vote on releasing the files. Sign the petition: Force a vote on releasing the Epstein Files!

<p>Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi are stonewalling the public on the Epstein Files.</p>
<p><strong>Trump campaigned on releasing more information about Jeffrey Epstein's crimes, but now he's calling the whole thing a "scam" and a "hoax."</strong><small>1</small> And Republicans voted to block a House committee effort to force the White House to release this information. <strong>Why don't Trump and the GOP want to show the public what law enforcement knows about Epstein's crimes?</strong></p>
<p>Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie are leading an effort to force a vote in the House of Representatives to release the Epstein Files and provide public transparency.<small>2</small> We need as many Democrats and Republicans as possible to support this vote right now.</p>

<p>The DOJ recently announced that they have no further information of interest to release relating to Epstein's crimes.<small>3</small> The administration also shared a doctored video from the night of Epstein's death in prison while claiming it was raw, unedited footage.<small>4</small></p>
<p>Trump was friends with Epstein, which has always been a peculiar part of this issue — even as the right-wing media eco-system spent years demanding the release of more information and saying Trump would get it done.</p>
<p>Just one Republican voted in the Rules Committee on Rep. Khanna's first effort to get a full House vote on the Epstein Files. The <strong>renewed bipartisan push to force a vote on government transparency can only succeed if we get more Democratic and Republican lawmakers to support it.</strong> Our elected officials should go on the record!</p>
