You're Invited: KDHE Budget Input Meeting
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) invites you to join us on Thursday, August 14, from 10:00am-Noon for a budget input meeting as we prepare for the 2026 legislative session.
As a KDHE stakeholder, your input is vital to our legislative process and the development of our priorities.
In addition to attending the input meeting, you are also invited to submit written testimony to advocate for any budget items you would like to include in the FY2027 KDHE budget. Your testimony should be no more than two pages and include: • Amount requested • Allocation information and supporting evidence
Please RSVP and submit your testimony to me, Allie Denning, KDHE Director of Legislative Affairs – [email protected], by Friday, August. 8, at 5 p.m.
If requesting to present your testimony in-person during the August 14 input meeting, please indicate when you submit your written testimony, and you will receive additional details and instructions.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need further information on submitting budget testimony. While this meeting is focused on budget input, we would also appreciate any information you can submit on legislative priorities you might pursue this session. This helps with our tracking and maintaining awareness of legislative items when session gets busy.
We look forward to working with you and thank you for being such an important partner with KDHE.
