This past Tuesday, Trump revealed his plans to help the GOP pick up more seats in the House by redrawing districts in Texas, giving them an unfair advantage in next year’s midterm elections.
Republicans are barely holding onto their razor-thin 220-212 majority in the House, with three vacancies in strongly Democratic districts.
And historically, the party in the White House loses seats in the midterms.
Now, with Trump’s “Big Ugly Bill” tanking his approval ratings, Republicans are looking for any advantage they can get — including manipulating maps to hold onto power. We can’t let that happen!
