I hope you had a chance to read the beautiful message my sister-in-power Cori sent yesterday. It brought tears to my eyes, because Cori knows this journey, our journey for true justice and equality just as much as I do. She’s lived it and her belief in me and this movement means more than I can say.

So I want to take a moment to introduce myself, directly, from my heart to yours.

I’m Rev. Dr. Stephany Rose Spaulding, a pastor, a scholar, and a passionate politivist. I’ve spent my life in classrooms and communities, in church pews and on protest lines, organizing for the world our people deserve.

But I’m not doing this work alone.

Movement 4 Freedom is about collective liberation. It’s about transforming systems that were never built for us into something rooted in love, healing, justice, and solidarity.

When I ran for Congress back in 2018, I wasn’t just campaigning. I was organizing. Listening. Learning. Dreaming. And I’ve never stopped.
