This year alone, we have witnessed some of the most aggressive rollbacks of civil rights in a generation. The same forces that once met John Lewis and other civil rights leaders with violence on the Edmund Pettus Bridge are showing up again — just in new forms.
If you’re outraged by attacks on civil rights, the gutting of essential services, the targeting of our neighbors, or assaults on free speech and the right to organize, now is the time to make good trouble. And the first step is making your voice heard at the ballot box. So make sure you:
❗Know what is on your ballot.
❗Check for local or state elections in your city and state using our voter hub at whenweallvote.org.
❗Encourage your friends and family to get registered and ready to vote.
❗Make your voice heard! Online, in your group chats, or at the dinner table.
These are acts of resistance. And we can do them together.
