DES starts solicitation to for lubricants and diesel exhaust fluid contract
DES is starting solicitation 09225, lubricants and diesel exhaust fluid, to replace statewide contract 02418, which expires July 31, 2026.
This solicitation is for lubricating oils (including re-refined and synthetics), grease/gear oil, and diesel exhaust fluid. We are looking for purchasers and subject matter experts to help us develop this contract. Price change and product update to snow and ice product contract
DES posted updated pricing for contract 11021, snow and ice products, effective July 1. This contract provides for the purchase of bulk snow and ice control products (rock salt, brine salt, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, etc.), up to 100 tons, with three-day, seven-day, or 30-day delivery.
The price change:
- GMCO: Increased on average of 7%
In addition, DES removed a product:
- EnviroTech Services LLC.: Corrosion inhibited liquid magnesium chloride meltdown inhibited from category 1

Help us develop dump bodies, snowplows, controls, and services statewide contract
DES is developing contract, 08525, dump bodies, snowplows (various types), controls, and services, which replaces contract 01117, and is looking for purchasers and subject matter experts to share their experience and feedback with us.
We are hosting a meeting for interested purchasers at 9:30 a.m. on July 23. Please contact the procurement coordinator below directly for the meeting invite. Attendees will have a chance to provide feedback, learn more about the contract, the solicitation process, and the ways to participate in the future.
